These official U.S. Coast Guard Presidential Unit Citation streamers are made in accordance with U.S. Coast Guard regulations (MIL-DTL-14650/6D).
The streamer has nine stripes consisting of white, orange, white, corsaire blue, white, corsaire blue, white, orange, and white. The citation was awarded for meritorious achievement and outstanding performance in response to Hurricane Katrina from 29 August to 13 September 2005.
